OVERVIEW
As one of the best hands-on courses around, the A+ at PACIFIC COMPUTERSIT will have students rebuilding PC's by week one! With intense focus on PC building and then configuration of an O/S on the built PC, students will harnass a complete toolset in the PC technicians arsenal. The topics are all hands on and yes you do all the installs etc, no projector group installs. Blue Screen IT ensures vendor-neutral training by exposing students to Microsoft DOS, Win9x, ME, NT, 2000 and XP as well as open source O/S Linux RedHat. By the end of this course students will be rebuilding computers from basic components to complete and installed systems!

· Analysis of boot files, system files and extensions
· Files systems including FAT, VFAT, FAT32 and NTFS
· Peripheral installation, management and configuration including printers, scanners and others
· Working with control panel and system tools for optimum machine configuration
· System restore, MSINFO32, error reporting service and other serivces/ utils
· Configuration of video adapters, monitors and display
· Analysis and input of dos commands
· Configure/ manage disks and partitions as well as volumes using RAID systems
